Liverpool’s city centre Hilton Hotel is holding an all-American ‘star-spangled’ evening to celebrate the Super Bowl 2018.

The Super Bowl, taking place on Sunday, February 4, is the grand finale of the NFL season and the biggest event in the US sporting calendar. Up to 70,000 people are due to attend the game in Minneapolis.

One of the main attractions is the Super Bowl’s legendary and extravagant half time show, which last year featured a performance from Lady GaGa and this year Justin Timberlake will be taking to the stage for the second time. 

The Hilton event is set to start at 9pm with a DJ until kick-off, followed by live coverage of the game on PIMA Bars  impressive huge screen. There will be food stalls and a dedicated hot dog stand as well as a popcorn machine. 

Pernod Ricard is supporting the event, allowing guests to sample free “boilermakers” – an American drink consisting of beer served with a whisky chaser.

Prices are £10 for single tickets, including a drink on arrival and a hot dog, and £20 for a package, including a drink on arrival, hot dog, wings and nachos during half-time and a guaranteed table or booth.
