A Liverpool clinic offering ‘fast-busting’ treatments is reporting a 25% surge in men seeking its services.

Liverpool Lipo says more than 2,000 men have visited its city centre clinic in the last few months alone with the top treatment being its non-invasive tummy tuck or ‘man boob’ reduction.

Glenn Pringle, founder and operational director of the business which also operates a clinic in Chester, said: “We have seen a real change in the individuals attending our clinics.

“Over a year ago it was only the odd male client, we are now getting full clinic sessions of just men. The attitude towards taking care of yourself and looking good has shifted.

“Programmes such as Love Island have had a huge effect as well as the rise in Instagram use. Men more than ever are wanting to look good – there’s nothing laughable about it anymore.”

Glenn opened the first clinic 10 years ago and has treated a number of celebrities, including Danielle Lloyd, Hayley Hughes and Duncan James. He believes the “fierce” dating game means men are feeling they need to take more care of how they look.

He added: “As a business, our foundations are built on offering safe and ethical treatments, so we enjoy offering a service to make people feel happier and healthier about themselves.

“Our male clientele is quite vocal about the fact they feel more pressure than ever to look good with their clothes off, so are turning to us as experts to help them feel more confident. We are also seeing men now enquiring about other treatments too, not just lipolysis, including our plasma pen and non-surgical facelifts.”

Over 20,000 treatments have been done to date across Liverpool Lipo’s two clinics based in Rodney Street, Liverpool and Hunter Street, Chester and academies in Liverpool, Chester and Milton Keynes.
