Luxury cosmetics retailer Space NK to open new store at Liverpool ONE. Tony McDonough reports
Luxury cosmetics retailer Space NK has agreed to open a new outlet in Liverpool ONE this summer.
Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor says the brand, which has 73 stores in the UK and Ireland, has agreed to take a 1,850 sq ft unit on Peter’s Lane. It will join iconic Liverpool fashion brand Cricket which is also opening a flagship outlet close by.
Set to open in June, Space NK will offer a selection of more than 100 of the most in-demand beauty brands. These will include Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, and Rose Inc from Rosie Huntington-Whitley.
Its store will feature dedicated consultation areas for makeup and skincare and a treatment room will include brands ranged at Space NK. The cost of treatments will be fully redeemable against purchases in store.
Andy Lightfoot, Space NK chief executive, said: “This location has long been one of our most requested. We look forward to bringing everything Space NK offers to our customers here.
“This store features our new design which represents the physical evolution of Space NK – a more customer centric, welcoming environment. It will offer more brands, more choice, more exclusives all there to be touched and tried, together with our expert staff.”
In early March LBN reported that in the first few weeks of 2023, retailers at Liverpool ONE saw sales rise more than three times the national rate. Later in the month it was announced that Bean Coffee Roasters was to more than double in size at Liverpool ONE.

“Joining other internationally renowned brands on Peter’s Lane, including Sweaty Betty which is also set to open in June, Space NK will feel very much at home in the region’s leading destination for premium lifestyle brands.”
