Manchester-based photocopiers and printer supplier Woodbank Office Solutions has acquired Wirral-based rival Datatech Systems.

Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester and with offices in Liverpool and Leeds, Woodbank is a leading northern supplier of KYOCERA and SHARP office photocopiers and printers.

It has acquired the entire share capital of Datatech, based at the Croft Business Park in Bromborough. It is also a provider of print and document management, printers, photocopiers and scanners. Liverpool law firm Gregory Abrams Davidson Solicitors advised Woodbank on the deal.

Woodbank managing director Janet Bowden said: “We’ve been looking to expand our business for some time. When the opportunity arose for us to acquire Datatech, it was evident that they were a natural fit for us.

“We share the same values and approach, allowing the acquisition to be a smooth and seamless transition for us and Datatech customers.”

It was a privilege to work closely with the team and advise on this transaction, which represents a next-key-step in the company’s ambitious growth strategy.”
