Mann Roberts appoints new head of Liverpool office
Liverpool law firm Mann Roberts Solicitors appoints a litigation specialist who joined the practice in 2023 as head of its city centre office

Liverpool law firm Mann Roberts Solicitors has promoted Colin Vickers to head of its city centre office.
Colin joined Mann Roberts in March 2023 from DWF. Since then he has focused his extensive litigation experience on the business disputes and commercial litigation aspects of the firm’s work.
He regularly advises on shareholder and director disputes, shareholders agreements, construction disputes, professional negligence, personal guarantees, insolvency, defamation and takes a specific interest in agricultural disputes.
“I am delighted to be promoted to head of Liverpool office at Mann Roberts. It has been many hard-working years in the making across a 20-plus year career in law.
“It is only right that I acknowledge that we have a superb, supportive and collegiate team here, full of positive energy and ambition but grounded and humble and they have played a huge part in our success so far and indeed in me being able to take this new position.
“We genuinely want to do things a bit differently both in the way we do our job as lawyers and how we operate as a business and we are determined to make it a success for everyone, our team and our clients.”

David Mann, founder and managing director at Mann Roberts, added: “This promotion is well-deserved. Colin is a force to be reckoned with. He takes a leading and significant role in all the work the team undertakes and is a lynchpin to our success.
“Colin believes that in addition to ‘knowing your law’, it’s absolutely critical for clients to see their lawyer as an ally, not just a legal expert. It’s often overlooked that people need lawyers in difficult, sometimes desperate situations and Colin believes empathy can be as important as legal knowledge when representing clients.”
