Sam Birtwistle is joining the Liverpool team of property consultancy Matthews & Goodman as an associate surveyor

Liverpool property consultancy Matthews & Goodman has recruited Sam Birtwistle to its agency team as an associate surveyor.

Sam, who has over 10 years’ agency experience in commercial property, has a proven track record in marketing, disposal and acquisition of office and industrial properties for both landlords and tenants in the North West region.

Prior to joining Matthews & Goodman, he spent more than 10 years with Warrington-based BE Group, where he started as a graduate, rising to senior surveyor. His portfolio of clients included Warrington Council, as well as blue-chip brands such as Betfred and Bruntwood.

“Sam’s 10 years’ professional experience is underpinned by his excellent people skills, market knowledge and an impressive breadth of expertise,” said Lynn Haime, head of the Liverpool office and head of the business space team in Liverpool. “He is already proving to be an excellent addition to our multi-disciplinary team.”

Having gained an upper second BSC (Hons) in Property Management & Investment from the University of Salford, Sam is currently studying for his Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) professional chartered surveyor qualifications.
