Four successful Merseyside entrepreneurs have come together to form a new events venture specialising in “personal development, growth, motivation, inspiration and progress”.

Seed Events held its first event in Bootle last weekend and speakers include well known personal development specialist John Haynes and Gold Medal-winning Paralympian, Mark Colbourne. Comedian Gary Skyner will be the compere.

It took place this Sunday at The Secret Warehouse, Syren Street in Bootle with more than 70 people attending.

Seed has also pledged to give a percentage of profits from each event to Liverpool’s Alder Hey Hospital.

The four business people behind the venture are Edward Douglas, who runs Base Communications and cleaning and maintenance firm As Good As New; Jon Hitchmough of Repairs to You and Alchemy Assist; Jon’s brother Joel Hitchmough from JH Building Services; and Kieran Malone, also of Alchemy Assist.

Edward Douglas told YBNews: “Whether it’s in your work life or personal life we can help you achieve your goals and dreams.

“Our events are run by a highly motivated, successful team who have amassed a significant amount of knowledge in different businesses.

“Our aim is to create an overwhelming energy at our events and we want to help as many people as possible.

We choose world class speakers who bring different mind and skillsets to the table. It doesn’t matter how successful you are in any area of your life.

“Each and every visitor will walk out of our seminars feeling invigorated and ready for anything.”
