Speke-based firm’s current pipeline of work includes land-led projects alongside local housing trusts to large scale private housing developments

Developer Crossfield Group has secured a raft of new housing projects and now has £18m worth of schemes in the pipeline across the North West.

These include land-led projects alongside local housing trusts to large scale private housing developments.

Speke-based Crossfield has secured four schemes with Onward Homes, as well as projects with First Ark in Knowsley and a residential unit in St Helens for people with additional needs on behalf of Torus, secured via the Procure North West framework.

It is also working on several private sector schemes, such as Birchen House, a development of 67 apartments in Birkenhead, and an £11m development of 61 high houses and two commercial units in Tattenhall in Cheshire.

The residential arm of the group is led by director David Dobson, who joined the group in 2017 after a long spell with main contractor Willmott Dixon. He has since recruited an expert team to support the group’s housing delivery.  

Mr Dobson said: “The group has invested time and resource in expanding the residential development side of the business and those efforts are now bearing fruit as a number of schemes begin to come online in a short space of time.

“We are pleased to be working alongside a number of proactive housing trusts while also bringing high specification private sector developments to the market.  We are acutely aware of the ongoing shortage of affordable homes across the UK, and we are delighted to be playing our part in helping to address this.”

Recent clients include Hugh Baird College; Merseycare NHS Trust; City of Liverpool College; Cheshire West & Chester Council and a number of private developers across the region.
