Mersey Maritime extends awards deadline
Deadline for entries for the 2024 Mersey Maritime Industry Awards is being extended. Tony McDonough reports
Mersey Maritime is extending the deadline for entries for its 2024 Mersey Maritime Industry Awards (MMIAs) to Monday, July 8.
Original deadline for entries was this coming Sunday, June 30. However, Mersey Maritime chief executive Ruth Wood said the last few weeks had been a busy period for a number of its members and so is offering more time to prepare entries.
“We know many of you have been incredibly busy in recent weeks, so we have decided to extend the deadline for applications until Monday, July 8, at midday. This extension gives you more time to prepare and submit your entries.
“We are eagerly looking forward to receiving some fantastic entries and hope you join us in celebrating the innovation, diversity, personalities, and stars of our industry.”
