Merseyside mums Georgia Hayes and Leah Stephens are launching SELFEE, a new concept bringing together wellness, empowerment and “high-energy social experiences” for women.

Georgia, from Liverpool, and Leah, from Wirral, say SELFEE offers an alternative to traditional nights out combining self-development with celebration “in a way that feels both meaningful and fun”.

At its core, SELFEE is built around a simple but powerful idea. They say: “A selfie is more than just a photo. It is a moment of reflection, a pause, and a question. Do you truly love the woman looking back at you?”

Born from their own experiences, Georgia and Leah set out to create something they felt was missing. A space where women could connect on a deeper level while still enjoying the energy and atmosphere of a great night out.

Each event blends empowerment, community, celebration and confidence, creating an environment where women can reconnect with themselves, build confidence, network with intention and celebrate who they are becoming.

Their first event, at BOXPARK Liverpool on Good Friday (April 3) from 4pm to 8.40pm, will see local women join a panel to talk about life, business and everything in between.

Entrepreneur Amy Gwynn, skin specialist Elle Parkinson, also known as Lovelle, and co-founder of Glamify Fashion Hollie Cassidy will all feature on the panel.

Local DJ Millie Manning will take to the decks to keep guests entertained throughout.

Georgia brings over a decade of experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry, with a background in personal training, yoga, meditation and sport nutrition. Leah spent 14 years as a beauty therapist before retraining as a personal trainer and Reiki Master.

“We created SELFEE because we felt like something was missing. Nights out had become repetitive and disconnected, and we wanted to build something that still had energy and excitement but with real depth,” said Georgia

Leah Stephens added: “Women are ready for something different. People want more intention, more connection and experiences that they can actually take something away from. SELFEE is about creating moments that stay with you long after the event.”
