Mexican food outlet Changos opens in Liverpool’s commercial district
The burrito bar, already a hit in Manchester, is launching at Queen Insurance Buildings in Dale Street this week and will serve a range of burritos, including low carb and low fat tortilla options
Mexican food outlet Changos is set to open its first Liverpool outlet in the heart of the city’s commercial district.
The burrito bar, which has gained huge popularity in Manchester city centre, is launching at Queen Insurance Buildings in Dale Street this week.
Changos will serve a range of burritos, including low carb and low fat tortilla options and gluten-free and vegan fillings, as well as other Mexican classics such as nachos and chilli.
Roger Taylor, owner of Changos, said: “The Changos ethos is all about high quality food using only the freshest ingredients and the tastiest sauces, all hand-prepared and cooked on the premises.
“This approach means everything to us and has helped us to enjoy great success in Manchester. We hope to develop a similar buzz with our new outlet in Liverpool and we are sure our new location will allow us to do just that.”
Toby Sproll, head of retail and leisure at Bruntwood, which owns Queen Insurance Buildings, said: “Changos is based in our St James Building in Manchester and has developed something of a cult following, with customers often seen queuing out of the door.
“We have been delighted to work with Roger and the team to bring them to Liverpool, adding to the increasingly diverse array of food outlets at Queen Insurance Buildings, and I have no doubt they will enjoy great success.”
