More than 100 jobs on offer at New Zealand hiring fair
More than 100 New Zealand job vacancies for 18-30 year olds are being offered by world-class ski-resort employers at a virtual hiring fair this Monday, 4th April 2016
Smaller Earth, based in Liverpool City Centre, is a leading gap year specialist who sends thousands of travellers abroad every year. The positions available through the ‘Kiwi Kiwi’ programme include ski chair operators, snow makers and patrollers along with more general hospitality and catering roles.
A selection of idyllic destinations on offer for the jobs includes The Remarkables Mountain Range, Mount Hutt and Coronet Peak, with jobs on offer from June to August; New Zealand’s winter months. Summer jobs are also available from September onwards.
With an office in Queenstown, along with guaranteed job interviews, Smaller Earth offers a paid-for package, including visa application assistance, insurance, five-night hostel accommodation and 24-hour support throughout the employment. Applicants must register in advance and will undergo an eligibility screening before choosing from the positions they wish to apply for. The programme team will then schedule a series of video interviews for employers to appoint their workforce for the upcoming season
Mark Hodgson, Marketing and Business Development Manager said:
“We are delighted to be hosting the Hiring Fair. I would encourage anyone who would like to work and travel in New Zealand to take this opportunity to meet the employers who are gathering and ready to hire. Whether you have a particular interest in skiing or not, this is a great opportunity to gain work experience and see all that this wonderful country has to offer.”
