£116m-turnover London-based national property group Lomond acquires Liverpool lettings and estate agency Homesure. Tony McDonough reports

National lettings and estate agency chain Lomond has acquired Liverpool-based lettings and estate agency Homesure.
Although the value of the deal was not disclosed, the most recent accounts for Homesure, filed on Companies House on February 10, showed that at June 30, 2025, the company had net assets of £220,498.
Homesure also owns a 100% stake in Andrew Louis Estate Agents based in Old Swan in the east of Liverpool, according to the accounts.
Lomond is the trading name of Chianti Holdings. With an annual turnover of more than £116m, the business operates more than 200 branches across the UK, with 2,500 employees and 70,000 properties under management.
Homesure operates from three city locations with a 30-strong team managing more than 1,700 properties across Liverpool and its surrounding areas.
Founded in 2007 by Steven Kenny, Homesure grew steadily under the leadership of Steven, along with Nick Stott (chief executive), and Mark Loughnane. It has expanded organically and through five acquisitions since 2016.
Companies House documents reveal Steven Kenny ceased to be a “person of significant control” in August 2024, but has remained a director of the business. Nick and Mark had control of the firm along with another shareholder, Gillian Penketh.
Nick said: “This partnership with Lomond is a win-win, for our clients, who will benefit from enhanced support and an expanded range of services, and for our team, who will gain career opportunities and resources, all while continuing to run the business with the same leadership and principles that have driven our success since 2007.”

Under Lomond’s ownership, Homesure will continue to operate under its existing brand, becoming the new regional hub in Liverpool, with oversight from Paul Clarke, Lomond’s chief revenue officer for the Midlands and the North West.
Ed Phillips, group chief executive of Lomond, added: “Liverpool is a strategically important market for Lomond, and Homesure is exactly the kind of business we look to partner with: strong local roots, a respected team and values that closely align with our own.
“Their consistent growth and client-first approach make them an excellent fit for the group, and we’re pleased to support the team as they continue to build on the solid foundations already in place.”
