Developer Adlington is build a 55-unit luxury apartment complex in Southport in an £11.5m scheme.

The new facility, in Alexandra Road, ill provide independent living for purchasers over the age of 55, with the option of support and a community all under one roof should homeowners opt for it.

North West construction firm Bardsley Construction has been appointed by Adlington to take on the project.
