New appointments revealed at Pavis, MSIF and Suttons Group
Wealth manager Pavis Financial Management, small business funder MSIF and global logistics group Suttons Group have all announced new appointments
Pavis, based at No 4 St Paul’s Square in Liverpool’s commercial district, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of three new directors.
Carly Dunningham, Ross Davies and Steve Robertshaw have all been promoted to director level, joining managing director Quentin McCormick, director Julie Calvert and chairman Bob Newton on the firm’s board.
Experienced financial advisor Steve Robertshaw arrived at Pavis in 2004 following six years at Standard Life, while chartered financial planners Carly Dunningham and Ross Davies both joined the firm four years ago. All three were associate directors at Pavis prior to their latest promotion.
The move follows another period of sustained growth for the firm which advises clients across the UK on investments in excess of £240m. Quentin McCormick, managing director at Pavis, said: “For many years, Carly, Ross and Steve have brought their range of expertise and intelligence to bear on behalf of clients, and their efforts have been a key component of our continued expansion as a business.”
Also based in Liverpool city centre, MSIF has appointed experienced tech-specialist, David Walters, to its investment management team. David has more than 20 years’ experience working within the tech sector.
He was one of the UK’s first data and digital investment directors at NorthEdge Capital and supported Fund:TMT as a member of the advisory board, helping with the technology analysis of potential investments.
“I’m hoping to be a tech ambassador for Merseyside on behalf of MSIF and I look forward to immersing myself in the AI and Data Science meetup community,” said David.
Widnes-based Suttons Group has made a double appointment to its UK-based marketing team. Alex Loveless and Jessica Russell join the company as marketing managers within the International and UK Tanker divisions respectively.
Alex joins from national law firm GW legal where he spent eight years developing new online initiatives for its B2B offering whilst also completing a full company rebrand. He is currently studying for an MA in marketing, communications and branding.
Jessica’s most recent role was social, content and consumer PR manager at CollectPlus and Yodel, a UK wide parcel carrier, where she created content across all digital channels for both B2B and B2C relationships.
John Sutton, chief executive of Suttons Group, said: “In an extremely competitive marketplace, these appointments are key as the company enters its next phase of growth. We need to ensure we are known in the marketplace as a high quality, safety led business.”
