Black Sheep Coffee has opened its doors in Liverpool ONE for the first time.

It was one of three new hospitality outlets announced by Liverpool ONE owner Grosvenor in the summer. It occupies 1,800 sq ft in Paradise Place and offers a full range of coffee beans and brews.

These include its signature Black Hoof drink. Bagels, toasties, organic smoothies and shakes, and Norwegian waffles are also on offer during the day. In the evening, the venue serves craft beer, wine, and espresso martinis with sourdough pizza and free popcorn.

Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet, co-founders of Black Sheep Coffee, said: “We are thrilled to finally be opening our first location in Liverpool.

“This is a crucial part of our continued expansion across the UK. Liverpool is such a cool and vibrant place and it is incredibly exciting to become a part of this great city.”

The interior of the new Black Sheep Coffee has been fitted out with street art and murals. Its arrival follows the opening of Gordon Ramsay’s premium casual dining concept Bread Street Kitchen, and Liverpool coffee shop operator Bean.

Rob Deacon, senior asset manager at Grosvenor, added: “Liverpool ONE is a hub for high-quality food and beverage operators. These include Mamasan, Maggie Fu and the recently opened Slim Chickens, and the newly opened Black Sheep Coffee, with its dynamic day-to-night offering, sits comfortably among them.”

Metis and CBRE acted for Liverpool ONE, while Black Sheep Coffee dealt directly.
