Business security systems provider NW Security Group has agreed to sponsor the Wirral-based UTS Youth Academy which helps young people to get more active.
The Hoylake academy was launched in the summer of 2018, with the aim to involve young people in sporting activities, exercising while having fun and developing their physical literacy.
The initiative has seen a very positive response from the community, counting over 50 kids attending the Academy’s weekly classes. Its ethos is ‘the athlete before the sport’, developing a child’s overall athleticism in order to develop co-ordination and movement skills which will allow children to play various sports competently.

He said: “The Youth Academy work and commitment to help children get active is inspiring and we wanted to support them in this great initiative.”
Academy coach Neil Parsley added: “After its launch in 2018, the academy, has seen an incredible growth, welcoming more than 50 kids every week. This growth highlighted the necessity of new equipment, which led to a fantastic collaboration between the UTS and NW Security Group.”
