Phase 1 of a £100m residential development just outside Liverpool city centre is set for completion three months ahead of schedule. Tony McDonough reports
Sourced Development Group is set to complete the first phase of its £100m Liverpool development three months ahead of schedule.
Called 56 at Westminster Park, the project comprises 56 one and two-bedroom apartments off Scotland Road. It is part of the larger Westminster Park scheme that will see 614 apartments built across three buildings.
Phase one rises to nine storeys and all the apartments are already sold. They are expected to be available to occupy in January 2023, 12 weeks earlier than initially planned.
Westminster Park forms a significant part of the developer’s plans to deliver 1,600 homes across the North West over the next three years. These plans include the 310-home Kingsway Square in Liverpool and the 525-apartment Regent Plaza in Manchester.
Sourced development director Wayne Blair, said: “Westminster Park is a high-quality residential development which sits within the northern boundary of a key Liverpool regeneration zone.

“We are helping to breathe new life into a city centre gateway – creating hundreds of new homes, jobs and apprenticeships.
“As one of our flagship schemes, this will transform an area that has needed regeneration for far too long and create a new community to contribute to the city’s thriving residential living sector.
“It is fantastic that we are three months ahead of schedule and are working flat out to get the rest of the apartments ready for occupants.”
