Southport Pleasureland has teamed up with Merseyrail to offer a discount to people travelling to the theme park by train in the school summer holidays.

This offer runs on Mondays to Fridays until Tuesday, August 30 (excluding August 26), and will include a discounted price of £19.99 on Full Experience Tickets for people who present their Merseyrail ticket or travel pass.

This represents a saving of £5 on the normal price and the offer seeks to incentivise sustainable travel by persuading people to leave their cars at home.

Norman Wallis, chief executive of Southport Pleasureland, said: “While we do have car parks available on-site, it’s not all about profits for us.

“We have an environmental conscience too. Guests who show their Merseyrail ticket at check-in will not only be doing good for the environment but will also benefit from a special offer and savings when they visit Pleasureland this summer.”

You can book the special ‘Merseyrail offer’ tickets online by clicking here and then present your Merseyrail ticket or travel pass along with your park tickets upon arrival at Pleasureland.
