Poke grows teams and secures awards nomination

Based in Liverpool, Poke Marketing is shortlisted in the Prolific North Digital Awards and has taken on a new apprentice

A recently-launched creative advertising agency in Liverpool is continuing to grow its team and is celebrating being shortlisted for a major award.

Poke Marketing, made up of a group of people, and friends, who have worked together at other agencies over the last 15 years, is shortlisted in the Prolific North Digital Awards for its Florianni Xmas Social Media campaign.

And the business has recruited MollyAnn Kite through Tangerine PR’s Juice Academy. Poke managing director Andrew Binns, said: “MollyAnn has already attended a film shoot, photography sessions, worked on a national ad campaign and helped create copy for four websites so she’s experiencing the high energy of agency life.”

The agency has now launched a new website for bridal shop Florianni which showcases the new branding, proposition and copywriting that it has developed. Florianni owner Cristiana Andrada said “My offering is all around empowering women on their most important day.

“I needed Poke to ensure that essence was delivered across all my channels. And they’ve done it. Beautifully.”

Nicola Docking, Poke’s head of strategy, added: “The Prolific North shortlisting the work we did across social media generated some incredible results. So we knew we had the messaging right. The website is so reflective of Florianni and we’ve already had some great numbers booking appointment.”
