PR and marketing firm Polaris Media has secured another client in the manufacturing sector.

Merseyside and Manchester-based Polaris has been appointed by leading trade body, the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA-EU), which represents manufacturers producing one, two, three and four-wheel vehicles such as e-bikes, e-motorbikes, e-scooters, e-cargo-bikes and e-mopeds.

The sector is aiming to transform urban transport by providing greener, less noisy alternatives to diesel and petrol vehicles. Belgium-based LEVA-EU campaigns on behalf of a wide range of members in the EU and helps member businesses better understand EU regulations.

Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington said the Polaris team will be working with LEVA-EU to raise awareness in cycling trade media as well as regional and national media and providing branding advice and design services.

Polaris is excited to be offering our PR and marketing services to LEVA-EU and its diverse members from across Europe, China and Korea,” he said. “The sector is driven by large players but also many innovative SME manufacturers.

“The global e-bike market alone is already worth an estimated $16bn and is set to grow to $23bn by 2025.”

Polaris already works in the cycling sector with Manchester-based bike brand Insync Bikes. In March Polaris was voted Professional Services Business of the Year at the Mersey Maritime Awards after growing by 10% in 2019 winning work across the UK as well as China, Singapore, Oman, India and Poland.
