Potter Logistics opens £1 million Knowsley distribution centre
Potter Logistics has opened their new Knowsley distribution centre in Charleywood Road in Knowsley.
The opening was celebrated at the warehouse with an event attended by Councillor Frank Walsh, dignitaries, clients, and staff.
Councillor Frank Walsh said:
“We are delighted that Potter’s investment of over £1m in this new facility secures the company’s long term future in Knowsley, and which has also secured 25 jobs.”
Managing director of Potter Logistics, Matthew Lamb, said:
“This new facility is the culmination of a year’s hard work from our staff and clients.
“The new distribution centre gives clients the opportunity to store their MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) and COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) regulated products in the North West at a well-connected industrial park with rail links.”
Potter Logistic has reported is sixth consecutive year of profit growth, now posted at £1.73 million, and has see an 8% rise in sales to £24 million.
