Power firm’s revenues hit record £2m
Based in Wirral Pleavin Power supplies generators and back-up power supply systems to clients including the NHS and is reporting its best-ever quarter. Tony McDonough reports
Merseyside power generation specialist Pleavin Power is reporting quarterly sales of £2m – up 47% on the same quarter in 2020 and its best quarter to date.
Started four years ago by technical director Jack Pleavin, the business supplies generators and back-up power supply systems across the UK and counts the NHS among its 150-plus clients.
Based in Bromborough in Wirral, Pleavin employs 15 people. Jack launched the business at the age of 21 after starting his career in engineering in late 2013. In a short space of time, Pleavin Power rapidly became a recognised market leader.
He said: “It’s been an incredibly busy four years for us as a firm and the last four months have really seen that growth accelerate.
“The whole reason I set the business up was to offer our clients a service built on integrity, reliability and resourcefulness and I truly believe that by offering that, it’s given us the tools and resources to keep expanding. The team and I are extremely committed to earning customer loyalty and trust.”
Pleavin Power’s clients include the NHS, Digital Reality, Velox Datacentres and Utility Oils. It says it delivers services that “enable customers to achieve the lowest operating costs while maximising uptime and minimising equipment downtime”.
Jack added: “We operate a dedicated 24/7 365 nationwide service from multiple locations and I can proudly say that we are one of the most well equipped and skilled businesses in operation.
