Liverpool property management firm Urban Evolution to is to invest £1.5m in its business in 2025 as it targets 35% growth and 40 new jobs. Tony McDonough reports
A Liverpool property management firm that manages almost 10,000 residential units across the UK is to create new jobs and invest £1.5m into its business.
Urban Evolution is targeting 35% revenue growth for 2025 and plans to expand its team from more than 100 to 140. It has five divisions – facilities management, lettings and management, maintenance, cleaning, and sales.
In April 2024 the company took over management of one of the most prominent residential buildings on Liverpool waterfront, Alexandra Tower in Liverpool Waters. It had been plagued with issues, including legal disputes with residents and disrepair.
Its external cladding, which has never had a preventative maintenance plan since the building’s construction, posed significant safety concerns, including the risk of glass panels spontaneously shattering.
Surveyors were asked by Urban Evolution to carry out a full assessment of the building’s structure, including the cladding. Engineers abseiled down each elevation of the tower to check all connections and joints.
Since then all legal actions have been halted, and many long-standing issues have been resolved. A project team has been appointed to undertake further extensive repair works in the summer of 2025.
Urban Evolution also operates across other cities in the UK, including Luton, Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle. The company is also extending its reach and introducing new services in additional locations.
