Pub market operator New World Trading Co launches mobile cocktail bar ‘The Wanderer’
The New World Trading Company (NWTC), operator of recognisable brands in the UK pub market (including The Botanist), has launched The Wanderer; a fully kitted mobile bar for hire.
The mobile bar started life as a Citroen HY van, with NWTC converting it into a fully working-bar, serving cocktails and world ales, on the road.
The Wanderer can journey around the UK, and will arrive complete with NWTC’s bar experts.
Nick Whitby, Head Of Bars at NWTC says: “We get inundated with requests asking if we can provide our cocktails and drinks for their private celebrations. The Wanderer is perfect for this. The vehicle has been adapted to house a sleek bar but it also promises to deliver our highest standard of award winning cocktails and drinks no matter where the celebration is, up and down the country.”
The Wanderer is sponsored by Plymouth Gin, which was created in 1793 at the UK’s oldest working gin distillery.
Magin Trewhella, Head of Marketing at Pernod Ricard UK, comments: “We’re delighted to be working with The New World Trading Company to launch this innovative and exciting new way for consumers to enjoy Plymouth Gin. The Wanderer is a natural fit for the brand as from its inception, the British Royal Navy consumed it on the move. Plymouth’s gentle yet complex flavour profile has long been acknowledged by bartenders as an ideal gin for cocktails, so it’s fantastic to be merging the excitement of a new venture with the heritage of the historic brand. We can’t wait for even more consumers to experience the super-premium gin in a variety of expertly-made cocktails.”
The Wanderer is available for hire now from £170 per day.
