National fitness brand PureGym opens its eighth outlet in Liverpool with a number of new jobs created at the 15,000 sq ft 24-hour facility. Tony McDonough reports
PureGym has opened its eighth Liverpool outlet, creating 12 new jobs at the 15,000 sq ft facility.
Located at Liverpool Shopping Park off Edge Lane, the latest PureGym will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In line with other facilities the gym will offer zero-contract, low-cost memberships.
It offers 220-plus pieces of equipment, a functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance, cardio equipment, and a fitness studio. There will also be a range of classes, included within membership and qualified fitness instructors.
A spokesperson for PureGym, said: “There is a huge appetite for affordable gyms in Liverpool so we are delighted to be opening our eighth gym in the city.
“Our newest gym is in a prime location on Liverpool Shopping Park, will be open 24/7, and will provide a fantastic range of fitness equipment and classes, all with affordable zero-contract memberships.”

PureGym says it is also on the lookout for people who want to become personal trainers via its training academy. This programme equips candidates to become certified PTs in 14 weeks.
The company guarantees jobs to all graduates of its academy providing they pass an interview.
