Quartet reveals Oktoberfest Liverpool plans
Four entrepreneurs reveal dates for Oktoberfest Liverpool taking place in the autumn
Four entrepreneurs from Liverpool are joining together to put on one of the North West’s biggest Oktoberfest events.
Three friends in the hospitality industry and a scaffolder came up with the idea for the event which is returning to the city’s waterfront Exhibition Centre following a successful indoor debut last year.
Led by leisure entrepreneur Paul Laing, the team behind Oktoberfest Liverpool is Darren Gilligan, who runs Brewery Bus Tours, Kevin McArthur from Handyman Brewery and Intelligent Scaffold director David King.
Paul Laing said: “We’ve all run our own businesses for many years and wanted to pool together our expertise.
“Oktoberfest Liverpool gives us the perfect opportunity to use our experiences to put on a festival which we hope will become a permanent fixture in the calendar of must-do events in the city.
