Queen Avenue to host Zutons’ Dave McCabe ahead of Sound City

Zutons lead singer Dave McCabe will help to launch this year’s Sound City music festival with a special performance at Queen Avenue in Liverpool.

His new ensemble Silent K will perform alongside several up-and-coming acts in the picturesque Victorian arcade on Friday, May 3, following the annual Sound City+ music industry conference and prior to the start of the two-day Sound City music festival.

The special performance in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district is hosted by Bruntwood, which owns Queen Avenue and is once again a principal sponsor of Sound City+, the UK’s leading independent conference for new music.

Rising stars Ali Horn, Paris Youth Foundation, Katy Alex and Monks will all perform on the night, with secret special guests also to be announced.
