Annual revenues at North West property consultancy AG Built Environment Consultancy (AG) have risen by 25.5% to a record £4.1m.
Founded in Preston 15 years ago, AG opened an office in Liverpool in 2022. Based at St Paul’s Square, the base is led by associate director Gemma Parkinson. She told LBN earlier this year the firm was looking to grow its local headcount by 25% in 2023.
AG operates across the UK from its three sites, which also include Preston and Manchester. Headcount at the firm has also increased, and it now employs 46 people acting for a variety of clients, including Langtree and SIG.
Chief executive Jonathan Shaw said: “Our team works incredibly hard, and the increase in turnover represents the fantastic work they deliver for clients across the UK.
“The growth we’ve achieved is directly attributed to our people. Without them, we simply wouldn’t be where we are.
“We’ve developed a culture in the business which empowers our people and looks at ways in which we can excel that are not always the norm and identify trends in the built environment that are shaping our client’s businesses.

“It’s something that our clients find refreshing. Our people constantly look for innovative ways to help our clients maximise their real estate.”
In November 2022, Building Magazine published its annual influential consultants’ league table and named AG one of the top 150 consultants in the UK.
Jonathan added: “What we have also found incredibly important is bringing people to the business that share our values and ambitions. It’s a recipe that has worked well, and we believe it will continue to do so.”
