The Royal Institute of British Architects has shortlisted projects from all across the north west region for the RIBA North West 2015 awards, with Liverpool particularly strongly represented.
Last year, Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre won the RIBA North West building of the year and then went on to win the prestigious Stirling Prize. Shortlisting this year’s entries from a longlist of more than 40, the next few weeks will see the RIBA judging panel visiting all of the buildings listed.
The Liverpool buildings on the RIBA North West shortlist are:
- 12 Jordan Street Studios, Liverpool by Pearson Architects
- Constellations Bar, Liverpool by Howard Miller Design
- Mann Island, Liverpool by Broadway Malyan
- St John Bosco Arts College, Liverpool by BDP
- Westmorland, Liverpool by Snook Architects
