Leading broadcaster and political journalist Robert Peston will be the star turn at this year’s Professionals’ Dinner in Liverpool.

Lobby and membership group Professional Liverpool (PL) has teamed up with the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants to host the event on Thursday, July 6.

It follows the success of the dinner in 2016 which PL organised in partnership with the Liverpool Law Society.

Mr Peston will be the guest speaker at the black tie event to be held at the city’s Titanic Hotel.

Formerly with the BBC and now with ITV, Mr Peston is one of the best known names and faces in British political journalism.

He is the political editor of ITV News and hosts his own weekly discussion show, Peston on Sunday.

The evening will start at with a drinks reception at 6.30pm followed by dinner at 7pm and will be supporting the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
