Almost three years after opening its first pizzeria in Liverpool, Rudy’s is to open a second outlet in the city and will give away 2,500 pizzas to celebrate the launch.

Called the ‘best pizza restaurant in the UK’ by Trip Advisor, Rudy’s Pizzeria arrived in Castle Street in November 2018. It originally launched in the Ancoats district of Manchester in 2015. It occupied the space vacated by the collapsed Cau restaurant.

It’s trademark is a stripped-back industrial style decor with a traditional pizza oven at its heart, cultivating a relaxed environment and following the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples.

Now Rudy’s is to open a second Liverpool outlet in Bold Street, already a popular location for restaurants and takeaways. It will be located in the former Sainsbury’s building at 105-107 Bold Street. It will occupy 3,000 sq ft, providing 120 covers.

Rudy’s Bold Street is set to launch in late September and the business is now looking for recruits for front-of-house team members and management team. Click here to find out more details on how to apply.

To register for a chance to claim one of the 2,500 pizzas, visit rudyspizza.co.uk/boldstreet. An email will be sent nearer the time of launch with a link to book your free pizza session, based on a first-come first-served basis.

Believing Neapolitan pizza to be the best in the world, Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside ingredients imported twice a week from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.
