Runcorn manufacturer Display Team UK has secured £250,000 of bank funding to move into a new warehouse and says it expects to double its workforce.
The firm makes and installs bespoke retail displays for clients including John Lewis and the Dixons Group.
Increased demand from customers means Display Team need a bigger warehouse and Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has backed its move into a new 8,000 sq ft space.
It will provide the company with the increased capacity needed to expand its current contracts and pitch for new clients.
Display Team creates product displays for technology firms, beauty manufacturers and design agencies and installs them in high street shops and department stores across the country,
To fund the move to the new site founder Lee Bradburne approached Lloyds, which provided the invoice finance facility.
This allowed the firm to release funding from unpaid invoices, providing the extra working capital needed without affecting its day-to-day cashflow.
As a result, the business expects to double its turnover in the next 12 months and double its workforce.
Lee said: “When we first started the business in 2013 we stored all our equipment and stock in my parent’s garage, so it’s fantastic that we now have a large warehouse and employ six people.
“Moving to the new site means we can pitch for larger contracts and we now have both the flexibility and available working capital needed to complete them.”
