Ryanair restores air link between Liverpool and Shannon after four-year break

Irish carrier will reinstate the route to the Irish destination from May 19 this year and all operate the service on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays until the end of October

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is offering flights to Shannon for the first time in four years.

Ryanair is to reinstate the route to the Irish destination from May 19 this year and all operate the service on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays until the end of October with prices starting £19.99 one way.

Paul Winfield, director of aviation development for LJLA, said: “We are delighted to see the return of Shannon to the Liverpool network for summer 2018. This new service will allow passengers from across the North West market to enjoy a faster, easier, friendlier experience when travelling to and from Shannon.”
