Sara Tye to speak at CIPR event in Swindon

Sara Tye, founder and managing director of redheadPR, will talk at the Charted Institute of Public Relations South West (CIPR) event, The Value of Social Media – Working out the ROI, in Swindon on Thursday 4 September 2014.

Sara will be demonstrating how she and the redheadPR team have used social media and online content to enhance consumer engagement in recent PR campaigns.

Sara Tye has nearly 30 years’ experience of managing the reputations of start-ups, corporates, not for profits and individuals. redheadPR, a dynamic independent public relations consultancy, uses cutting-edge online PR and marketing techniques as well as tried and tested traditional methods. Sara’s clients have included Green & Black’s, Frangi Tie Rack, Blue Dragon, Nokia, Belu Mineral Water, Centrepoint, Raleigh International, Cardiac Risk in the Young and crocus.co.uk. She was a finalist in the first Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Awards in 1999.

Sara is patron for Christ Church in Swindon, a Smarta mentor and director consultant at the global networking group, BNI and Chair of I AM WOMAN.

She has run a Mexican food business, a hotel in St Ives and a residential home for the elderly.

Andrew Bruce Smith, the founder and Managing Director of digital communications consultancy, Escherman will deliver the key note address at the event, and Paul Beadle, Nationwide Building Society’s Head of External Affairs (Consumer and Social Media) will conclude with an insight into the importance of embedding social media throughout the business and its use in reputation management, The Value of Social Media – Working out the ROI takes place at the Campanile Hotel, Delta Business Park, Great Western Way, Swindon, on Thursday 4 September 2014 from 10:15am to 13:45pm.
