Sefton Park Palm House steps into springtime
Sefton Park Palm House is set to welcome the arrival of springtime with its eclectic events calendar.
The iconic Grade II* listed Victorian glasshouse will play host to a varied line-up throughout March and April. Ideal for guests of all ages, the events catalogue will welcome a selection of live musical performances and concerts, in addition to its ever-popular Artisan fayre.
Senior Events Manager of Sefton Park Palm House Laura McCarten said:
“Our lovely Palm House is renowned across Liverpool for the huge variety of events it sets the stage for, and we are well known for our holistic approach to delivering events to suit all tastes. With springtime fast approaching, we are thrilled to welcome the return of Artisans in the Palm House for its ‘Start of Spring Weekend Spectacular’ on April 9th and 10th. Over the weekend, guests will be treated to a diverse range of wonderful world foods and exciting refreshments including locally brewed beers and ciders. In a bid to offer something for everybody, there will also be children’s entertainment on hand – ideal for a fun family day out.”
As part of the varied line up on Wednesday, March 9, the venue will welcome award-winning artist Josie Jenkins once again for the renowned ten week course, Drawing in the Palm House. On Friday, March 18, the venue will see the return of its popular Salsa Under the Palms, which aims to provide a fabulous night of fun and dancing for all levels of guests from absolute beginners to advanced dancers.
On Tuesday, April 12, Jumping Jacks will descend on the glass house for a family friendly Easter Party featuring Alice, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter. Free Sunday concerts courtesy of the Liverpool Male Voice Choir will take place on April 17 and the Wayfarers Barbershop Chorus are set to perform on April 24.
