Sefton Park Palm House unveils new look as it celebrates 13th birthday

To mark its thirteenth birthday, Sefton Park Palm House has unveiled a new look.

The popular tourist attraction has revamped its overall brand image to create a “contemporary-heritage” design, as well as introducing a fresh website. The revamp also sees new business cards, marketing materials and event guides, which detail up and coming listings for three months in advance.

In an attempt to reflect the venue’s ethos, www.palmhouse.org.uk will now feature user-generated photo uploads, an extensive multimedia calendar, as well as general tourist information and printable venue hire booklets.

Director of the Palm House Moira Leonard said:

“It is great to have finally revealed our new branding to the public, as we move into our teenage years of establishment. We have worked closely with both graphic and website designers, in order to create an image that truly mirrors what we are all about, and emphasise the fact that we are more than just a greenhouse.

“We have also introduced the new slogan, ‘Your Palm House’, to reflect our community focused philosophy and welcoming personable approach.”

The overall aim of the revamped design is to bring the Palm House into the modern day, whilst holding onto its lasting-legacy – prior to the re-establishment back in 2001. It is also hoped that the new website will raise awareness of forthcoming events, as well as offering a more interactive experience for visitors.

Moira added:

“We wanted to showcase our new branding to the public with a bang – therefore Bonfire Night was the perfect time, as we combined food, fizz and fireworks to celebrate our new brand image. It was great to welcome many familiar faces, supporters and volunteers during the special soirée.

“We would like to thank everyone for their continuous support over the years and would like to get them increasingly involved. Accessible online features will now enable our visitors to share their experiences, sign up to become volunteers and also donate to The Trust by a click of a button.”
