‘Self Love Sunday’ in Liverpool can help you avoid the ‘burn out’
Event being held later this summer by former Liverpool PR professional Geniene Azalea who wants to pass on the knowledge she has used to turn her own life around
Former Liverpool PR professional Geniene Azalea suffered “burn out” in her life and career but has since embraced a regime of relaxation and self-care.
Now she wants to pass on the techniques and knowledge she has acquired at an event in Liverpool later this summer. Her Self Love Sunday on August 25 will feature activities such as yoga, a ‘sound bath’, meditation, breathing exercise and reiki.
Being held at Sass and Self Help studios in the city centre, it will also offer a law of attraction workshop as well as a nutritious lunch and a “great chance to meet with like minded people and have some fun”.
Said Geniene: “I’m really excited to be sharing the techniques I’ve discovered over the years that helped me with self care and treating intrusive thoughts.
“The fast pace of modern society it can be difficult to find time for yourself. And often our main source of relaxation and ‘me’ time can come from something external such as television, alcohol or other unhelpful recreational activities.
“It is long documented that activities such as yoga, meditation and massage can be used to relieve the symptoms of anxiety and depression and provide important building blocks for self care.
“Self-love is not selfish and its crucial that we take time out from our busy schedules in order to not become overwhelmed. With stress-related illness on the increase, many are looking to find a holistic way to bring in that elusive inner peace.”
