Exhibition Centre Liverpool has confirmed a series of events returning to the waterfront venue.
Camperex, Wound Expo, the Allergy and Free From Show and The Venue Expo are set to take place again this year.
After a successful first outing for Camperex in January, the event will return to Exhibition Centre Liverpool for Summer Camperex on July 15 – 17.
Graham Griffiths, business director at Camperex, said:
“Exhibition Centre Liverpool had the perfect facilities for our first event. We were able to showcase a range of caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and other accessories to camping enthusiasts thanks to the size of the venue. We received really positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors and, as a result, plan to expand our next show in July.”
Wound Expo was the first event at the venue when it opened in September last year. It will return again on September 7 – 8 and will co-locate with Primary Care Nursing Expo North.
The Allergy and Free From Show North welcomed more than 10,000 visitors in November 2015. The exhibition, which showcases products, cooking classes and expert advice for those living with allergies and intolerances, will return on November 5 – 6.
The Venue Expo, which provides an opportunity for the meetings industry to exhibit, network and take part in educational sessions, follows on November 8 – 9.
Kerrin MacPhie, director of conference and exhibition sales at ACC Liverpool, said:
“The fact that many of our clients are choosing to bring their public and trade exhibitions back to Exhibition Centre Liverpool highlights the success of their initial events with us and the confidence they have to come back again to build on this success.”
The Liverpool Wedding Show was the first consumer exhibition at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. Earlier this year, organisers confirmed they will return twice a year over the next five years.
Forthcoming events include Liverpool Football Club’s Players’ Awards, the International Festival for Business and the Labour Party conference. Exhibition Centre Liverpool recently welcomed more than 21,000 visitors to MCM Comic Con.
The waterfront venue is adjacent to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, making it the only purpose-built interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre in Europe. The complex includes an integrated 216-room hotel, Pullman Liverpool.
