The Sisterhood Society presents the ‘Sisterhood Grant’

Women’s networking and ‘thought leadership’ organisation will celebrate their third event with the launch of a new grant.

The Sisterhood Society will host its third event at Constellations on Wednesday, May 8, from 10.30am -12.30am, as part of its drive to bring together conscious leaders and women who are looking to get into business and be their own boss.

For May’s edition of the Sisterhood Society, the ‘sisters’ are offering information on ‘How to Build a Successful Brand’ with guest speakers; celebrity chef and restauranteur Nisha Katona (Mowgli), Radio City presenter Claire Simonsen and journalist and PR expert Laura Garner.

As part of the event, the ‘Sisterhood Grant’ will also be launched – a £500 cash boost for budding entrepreneurs and aspiring startups to jump start a new project or business idea, made up of money from ticket sales from the event.

Speaking about the new movement for women, Sisterhood Society co-founder Alishia Thomas said: “Sometimes all it takes is the support of a good network of people and reassurance of others to have faith in your idea and actually start on that business idea you’ve had spinning round your head for months!

“We hope the Sisterhood will create a strong network, where women can feel at ease and be part of a trusted inner circle.

“I think the success of the launch event on International Women’s Day shows that as women we’re all united together on the same path and that this type of social community is missing in the North West.”

To register for the Sisterhood Grant all you have to do is state your name, business idea or company name, and a little bit about how you would use the money to info@thesisterhoodsociety.co.uk.
