Yorkshire-based Moda Living is close to completion on its £80m, 34-storey residential development at Liverpool Waters and is opening an office nearby. Tony McDonough reports
Liverpool’s latest skyscraper is almost complete and the developer behind the scheme, Moda Living, is setting up an office just yard away.
Moda is building The Lexington, a 34-storey £80m residential development in Princes Dock Liverpool Waters, comprising 325 apartments. It next to the £21m, 16-storey Plaza 1821 scheme which has already welcomed its first tenants.
Now Yorkshire-based Moda, which has already delivered several residential projects across the UK, is to open an office at The Quay, No12 Princes Dock to support The Lexington which is expected to welcome its first tenants this summer.

It is one of three new lettings announced by Princes Dock Liverpool Waters owner, Peel L&P for No 12. The other two deals are with property consultancy Walker Sime and chartered surveyors Delva Patman Redler.
Richard Smith, managing director of operations at Moda Living, said: ““The Lexington is far more than just apartments; it’s a lifestyle. Our rental apartments come with an envious list of amenities.

At present, more than 2,500 people work at Princes Dock across a range of office spaces, and in the immediate vicinity there is two hotels, a coffee shop, restaurants, a nursery and a multi-storey car park. Princes Dock will also eventually be home to Liverpool’s new Cruise Terminal and hotel.
Walker Sime is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that offers quantity surveying, project management, construction design management and bill of quantities services. Delva Patman Redler is a specialist in party walls, rights of light, daylight/sunlight and neighbour disputes.
