Standing Space helps transform Warrington’s ‘The Outset’
Equinox Properties have turned the former Bank Quay House into The Outset, a hub for entrepreneurs, with the help of the interior design specialists
Warrington commercial interior designers Standing Space has completed the transformation of the former Bank Quay House into The Outset, a hub for entrepreneurs and say they are delighted with the result.
The office building, in the centre of the town, was acquired by owners Equinox Properties late in 2017 who immediately set upon a programme of modernisation and upgrade. The entire 2,020 sq ft ground floor reception and café area has been completely remodelled into a co-working space, including meeting and telephone pods, new reception and cafe.
Interior designer Jessica Standing and architect Peter Standing, founders of Standing Space, were commissioned by Equinox Properties to design the space, working alongside Sheila Bird Group.
Jessica said: “The project was a team collaboration and evolution into the fabulous space that it is now. It adds a whole new feel to the building. It feels exciting, fresh and energetic. A great place to work, meet, eat and enjoy a brew.
“We have worked all over the country on various commercial commissions over the years and it is great to finally work on an office building in Warrington.”
Daniel Jebreel managing director of Equinox Properties, said: “Our aim was to create a beautifully designed scheme with its own unique personality – for the use of both our tenants and the public.
“We feel that we have created an environment that will engender the creation of a business community in the building.”
The official launch of The Outset will be at 12.30 on 22nd March when local MP Faisal Rashid will cut a ribbon.
