Businesses across the region are getting behind CBRE’s Cycle Series North with more than 160 riders already registered to take part.

Property professionals from CBRE’s offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds are gearing up to take part in the second cycle event to support disadvantaged young people across the UK.

The event takes place on Thursday, June 27, at the Broughton Hall Estate in Skipton and CBRE is announcing the last chance for anyone from the property sector to sign up.

The inaugural ride in 2018 saw more than 200 cyclists representing over 120 companies from across the property industry, saddle up from across the North and CBRE is hoping to attract more riders this year.

There are two distances available – 50km and 100km – aimed at intermediate and advanced levels of ability and experience. Both routes take riders through the Yorkshire Dales with a few challenging hill climbs along the way.

CBRE signed a two-year partnership with Action for Children last year and the charity welcomed a cash injection of more than £11,500 from the 2018 North cycle event, which is vital in helping to build safe and loving homes for more than 700 children in care and to support foster parents.

John Ogden, managing director at CBRE Manchester, said:Last year’s event attracted great support from a wide range of  property professionals from investors and developers to architects and financial businesses and we hope to encourage even more cyclists to register this year. ”
