Property investor Tandem Investments secures sale of 11,652 sq ft Liverpool city region warehouse for £1.55m. Tony McDonough reports

Agents at LM6 and B8 have secured a sale of a Liverpool city region warehouse on behalf of client Tandem Investments.
Bahama Close, a 11,652 sq ft warehouse facility in Haydock, has been acquired by CES Breaker Hire for an undisclosed sum. It sits on a total site area of 0.78 acres and sold for £1.55m.
Tandem carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of the property before offering it for sale. It described the asset as “a strategically-located warehouse on a low density site”.
Anthony O’Keefe director of LM6, said “The site occupies a strategic position adjacent to the East Lancs Road and in close proximity to the M6 motorway and was well suited to a hire type business needing a good yard and close proximity to the M6.”

Tandem says it will redeploy the capital from the sale of the site into similar projects in the North West and “build upon recent successes in Trafford Park, St Helens and other core locations”.
Director Richard Rees added: “We are pleased to have delivered the business plan in such a short time-frame and further underwrites our belief in prime North West locations such as Haydock.”
