The Epstein Theatre extends panto deal with LHK Productions

The Epstein Theatre has welcomed the news of an extended pantomime deal with Liverpool’s LHK Productions.

Following the success of an initial three year contract, the iconic Hanover Street venue has furthered its collaboration with the North West-based production company until 2019.

As part of the longstanding affiliation between the theatrical duo, a selection of Easter and Christmas pantomimes will run throughout each annual seasonal period. This year’s festive show will offer a refreshing take on the classic fairytale, Cinderella, whereby celebrity hunk Calum Best will star as Prince Charming.

General Manager of The Epstein Theatre Rebekah Pichilingi said:

“We are thrilled to further the longevity of our partnership with LHK Productions, as year on year the team continues to put on brilliant pantomimes, which are loved by every one of all ages.

“Last year’s performance of Jack and the Beanstalk, which featured TOWIE star Dan Osbourne, received high acclaim from theatregoers and we are certain that Cinderella will be just as entertaining. We look forward to presenting a show that is packed with humour, wit and sparkle.

“As the theatre prides itself on offering something a bit different, whether it be our family shows or exclusive Summer School – we love how our collaboration with LHK Productions helps us to add to the diversity of our extensive listings. Working alongside director Lee Kelly and his team suits us perfectly, as the shows are always tongue in cheek, refreshing and feature a great cast.”

LHK Productions, formed in 2005, is a bespoke production company that has become renowned for providing pantomimes and theatrical shows that offer a fresh and novel twist. Not only does the company operate across a local and national scale, LHK Productions has recently became a global brand, after securing impressive deals with companies in both Dubai and Lebanon.

Director of LHK Productions Lee Kelly added:

“The Epstein Theatre is one of our favourite local venues to work with due to its historic charm and sheer uniqueness.

“Having extended our pantomime deal with the theatre, we are very much looking forward to working alongside the team and deliver a great assortment of original shows that will go on to make a lasting impression.”
