The Epstein Theatre is encouraging businesses across the North West to consider the benefits of office away days in order to motivate and inspire their staff.

Having recently introduced a new corporate arm to its offerings, the iconic Hanover Street venue is providing a unique space for co-workers, in a bid to take their work ‘outside of the four walls of their offices’.

General manager of The Epstein Theatre Rebekah Pichilingi said:

“A new independent survey carried out by TeamSport has revealed that 67% of employees have not experienced corporate away days, despite one in five agreeing that they improve working relationships.

“Holding a meeting or corporate event outside of the everyday surroundings of the office can often cultivate fresh ideas, as employees are away from the distractions and stresses of the workspace. With that in mind, attendees can focus completely on the subject matter at hand, making for a productive and prolific day.”

Located in the heart of the city centre, The Epstein Theatre is quickly becoming renowned for providing corporate function facilities for numerous occasions such as conferences, award ceremonies and networking sessions for groups of up to 380 delegates. Depending on the scale and nature of the event, businesses can choose to hire space in the Grade II* listed building for either a full day or half a day.

“As part of the study, it also suggests that 14% of employees who attend regular away days feel a sense of improved communication skills with managers. Office away days allow employees who do not normally interact the chance to socialise or reconnect with one another. This ultimately leads to increased synergy within a team and can even help to break down any political barriers.
