The Merseyside Tax Profession comes together
The Merseyside Branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians held another successful annual dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in February
Well over two hundred members, clients, guests and representatives of Liverpool’s professional community were in attendance, as was the national president, Chris Jones.
The gathering was entertained after dinner by the guest speaker, Bill Turnbull, formerly of BBC Breakfast.
The principal sponsors were Grant Thornton and Michael Page. The Branch Chair, Rob Adams, a senior tax manager at Grant Thornton, commented:
“I was delighted to see so many members enjoying themselves. This shows the robust strength of the tax profession on Merseyside and we look forward to another busy year.”
The Office Managing Partner of Grant Thornton’s Liverpool office, Neil Sturmey, commented:
“We are very proud to support Rob and the Branch and see it as an important commitment to the local professional community.”
