The Women’s Organisation launches new business and networking club
More than 70 business women and guest speakers from Ph. Creative attended an official launch at The Women’s Organisation last week at their flagship building 54 St James St and accountancy firm Mitchell Charlesworth were unveiled as headline sponsors of their new business club. The local accountants offer a complete financial and accounting solution for businesses and individuals, with offices across the North West.
Partner Paul Durrance of Mitchell Charlesworth has said:
“Deciding to become a headline sponsor for The Women’s Organisation Business Club was an easy one to make. Mitchell Charlesworth supports new start and growing SME businesses and the Business Club is the perfect forum to meet women entrepreneurs who need advice, want to understand their obligations and make their business successful.
“In the last 12 months, Mitchell Charlesworth has seen more women take the initiative and start a business than ever before and we want to support these businesses, and members of The Women’s Organisation Business Club, so they reach their full potential. We can already see how much planning The Women’s Organisation have put into making the Business Club programme a success, so we are very much looking forward to working with them over the next year.”
The Women’s Organisation Business Club, which is aiming to become the leading female-only networking group for business owners in the North of England, has garnered much interest and has a fully scheduled programme of events for the next six months. As well as offering interesting and expert guest speakers at events, the club will also give members the opportunity to be a Featured Business for the night, showcasing their work to the attendees.
Featured businesses at the launch event last Thursday included Angela Preston, author of opening doors and Director of AP Coaching, Barbara Lawrence with her innovative hearing aid accessory, Hear Ear Audiology Ltd, and Yvonne Bennett with her business WPGUK (Wedding Planning Guild UK).
The next event for Business Club will be ‘Manage Your Business Relationships’, with Consultant and Coach, Zoe Richards, to be held on Wednesday 21st October at The Women’s Organisation, with tickets available through the website.
