With the festive season fast approaching, Trattoria 51 has unveiled its trio of Christmas menus set to whet all appetites.

Featuring creative Italian cuisine accompanied by classic winter warmers, the array of three course menus available at the popular Old Hall Street eatery are ideal for celebrations amongst family, friends and work colleagues alike.

Devised with the classic colours of both the Italian flag and Christmas in mind, diners can choose from the Menu Verde (green), the Menu Bianco (white) and the Menu Rosso (red) – all of which feature a range of seasonal meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, in addition to an assortment of indulgent desserts.

Restaurateur Attilio Sergi said:

“Following the popularity of last year’s Christmas celebrations at Trattoria 51, we are now offering a variety of festive menus with choices ranging from succulent and simple to more extravagant and elegant dining options.

“The Menu Verde and Menu Bianco feature an array of start and share dishes, making them the perfect choice for group celebrations, while our more luxurious Menu Rosso option provides culinary delights such as Beef Mignon and Artisan cheeseboards.

“Our latter two menu options are perfectly finished off with a choice of pallet cleansing digestifs including Limoncello, Amaretto or Sambuca – which add to the festive merriments.”

Consisting of a varied selection of classic Christmas dishes created with Trattoria 51’s signature Italian flair, menu highlights include roast turkey roll stuffed with mozzarella and spinach, white wine and rosemary sauce, sautéed new potatoes and seasonal vegetables; grilled seabass fillet with leek puree, crushed new potatoes with rocket and seasonal vegetables, as well as homemade goats cheese and sundried tomato ravioli, served with olive oil, courgettes, cherry tomatoes and a touch of garlic.

Those with a sweet tooth can then choose from an assortment of seasonally inspired desserts including zuccotto panettone – ice cream cake, amaretto, vanilla creme anglaise and coconut flakes; classic homemade tiramisu and warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

The Menu Verde is priced at £15.95, the Menu Bianco is priced at £19.95 and the Menu Rosso is priced at £27.95. All menus are available throughout December. A £51 menu is also available exclusively on Christmas day at the Old Hall Street venue. Party menu available for parties of 6 or more. Pre-ordering is required and all party members must choose from the same menu.
