Liverpool digital marketing agency Velstar has moved to a new base in Liverpool City centre after a year of growth and is planning an international expansion.
Over the past 12 months the business has grown by 78% and staff numbers have doubled to almost 30. It has now moved from Mann Island to The Tempest in Tithebarn Street where it has taken 4,298 sq ft of office space on the sixth floor.
It has secured a number of new client wins and has undergone a rebrand which includes an updated colour palette, logo, typography, and a refreshed, new website. Founded in 2016, Velstar specialises in designing, building and optimising Shopify Plus stores for online retailers, as well as providing a range of digital marketing services.
Chief executive Dan Sheard said: “Over the past few years, we’ve been growing quickly, so it felt like the right time to advance our look, feel and messaging to better reflect our size, presence, and the work we’ve done for our incredible clients.
“Having outgrown our previous office in lockdown and with ambitions to double our numbers again this year, we had to move to a bigger space that suited the needs of the business, and one we can really call our own
“Plus, we’re a sociable bunch and our fun, friendly culture is important to us, so the new office provides a perfect base for us to come together from far and wide and celebrate our successes.
“We have big plans for 2022. We’re on another major recruitment drive for lots of exciting roles and have expansion plans to open new offices in Europe and North America. More news on this is coming very soon.”
